Establishment of TAKKT AG, spin-off and IPO - acquisition of Gerdmans

In 1999, the entire mail order division of GEHE Aktiengesellschaft , which until then had operated under the name KAISER+KRAFT, was spun-off into the TAKKT AG. In preparation for the spin-off, the different segments were restructured. TAKKT AG has been listed since 15 September 1999, among others on the Frankfurt/Main and Stuttgart stock exchanges and is a part of the SDAX index since 2000.

In the same year, KAISER+KRAFT acquired the Scandinavian Gerdmans group as part of the expansion, thereby expanding its customer base in Europe. The company specializes in plant, warehouse and office equipment operating in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
