In the context of the first classic spin-off of a listed German company, TAKKT AG took over the former mail order division of GEHE Aktiengesellschaft (now: Celesio AG) on 1 July 1999. The company is listed on the SDAX index since mid-2000 and was admitted to Deutsche Boerse’s Prime Standard on 1 January 2003.
