TAKKT division KAISER + KRAFT EUROPA is Mail Order Company of the Year 2008

The highest award in the German mail order industry, “Mail Order Company of the Year”, was won in 2008 by KAISER + KRAFT EUROPA. The German E-Commerce and Distance Selling Trade Association and the trade magazine “Der Versandhausberater” presented the award in Wiesbaden on 30 September 2008.

With this award, the jury recognised the development of KAISER + KRAFT EUROPA’s business in the past few years. Its innovative power, quality, and development of its product assortment were expressions of above-average performance, according to the jury. The same applied to marketing, sales, customer service and logistics. In addition, the company had set a strategic course that ensured its long-term competitive position.

For Franz Vogel, COO KAISER + KRAFT EUROPA division on the TAKKT Management Board, the award confirms the correctness of its chosen path. “We are proud of this award, and see it as an incentive to resolutely extend our successful business model,” said Vogel. “A key factor in our success is our staff, through whom our service orientation lives. This award has been earned by all of them.”

The company specialises in office, business and warehouse equipment, which means that, for the first time, the award has gone to a mail order company focused on business customers. Under the slogan “Everything for the business”, the award-winner bundles products from more than 300 suppliers and serves some 1.1 million customers.

The title of “Mail Order Company of the Year” has been awarded for more than ten years by the German E-Commerce and Distance Selling Trade Association (BVH) and the trade magazine “Der Versandhausberater”.
