Change in function at TAKKT Supervisory Board

Prof. Dr Klaus Trützschler is new Chairman of Supervisory Board of TAKKT AG

On 24 September 2008, the Supervisory Board of TAKKT AG appointed Prof. Dr Klaus Trützschler as its Chairman and Dr Eckhard Cordes as its Deputy Chairman with immediate effect. Prof. Dr Trützschler thereby succeeds Alexander von Witzleben in this function. The decision reflects the change on the Management Board of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH, TAKKT's majority shareholder. With effect from 31 December 2008, von Witzleben will step down as a Management Board member of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH.
