Chief Financial Officer moves to Celesio AG

Change in TAKKT's Management Board

The Chief Financial Officer of TAKKT AG, Dr. Felix A. Zimmermann, will leave TAKKT AG with the effect on 31 May 2004. The Supervisory Board of Celesio AG has today appointed Zimmermann as new Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 June 2004.

Zimmermann has been a Member of the Management Board since the foundation of TAKKT AG on 1 March 1999. He was responsible for Controlling, Finance and Investor Relations. Zimmermann took over an important role during the successful spin-off of the mail order division from GEHE AG (now Celesio AG) and the subsequent stock exchange listing of TAKKT AG.

Georg Gayer, the Chairman of the Management Board of TAKKT AG states: “We regret the decision of Dr. Zimmermann. In the past five years he has completed successfully several projects and created sustainable value for TAKKT with his actions. Moreover, he has explained excellently the TAKKT business model to shareholders and the capital markets with considerable personal engagement. On the other hand, we respect his decision to accept a new challenge. Our best wishes accompany him for his new appointment. We expect to present a successor at our Annual General Meeting, which takes place next week.”
